The Barre Ramp Camp is the first summer camp of it’s kind. Instead of focusing on traditional camp activities, this camp focuses on skateboarding, and more importantly building an entire skate park!!
The camp focuses on teaching technical as well as life skills through skateboarding and the construction of the new skate park.
The camp has been made possible by a grant from the federal Drug and Alcohol Resistance Program making the camp free for campers!
Along with skateboarding and construction, campers will be attending drug and alcohol resistance classes provided by new directions to learn life skills and the negative effects substance abuse can have.
